Plate heat exchangers

After years of intensive research and development Ekopatter Oy introduced year 1982 cross flow plate heat exchanger that was mainly targeted at comfort air conditioning. Heat- exchanger has shown its excellence in practice during the years. It is the simplest and cheapest method to recover heat.

Fresh and exhaust air are separated by thin aluminum plates. Optionally, plates can be epoxy coated. Plates are double folded at the ends to form extremely tight construction. This guarantees that there is no leakage between the channels. Total separation of flows means that Ekocoil plate heat- exchangers can be used even if exhaust air is very dirty, i.e. smoky.
